My pledge to credit card debt

(oops, just put this in the credit card board by mistake, was intended for DFW)
This week, I finally put a couple of adverts in the local free ads. Soon I will be placing more and, in a few weeks, will be selling at a boot fair.
I will also be claiming unfair bank/credit card charges. I'm fortunate to have kept every single statement since I got my first store card ten years ago! I always thought they might 'come in handy one day', so never chucked them out! It will only be a couple of hundred pounds but even so....
Anyway...anything I receive from the above will go to reducing my credit card debt. Currently at £2,500 on one 0% card. I will not spend any of the above on pretty, sparkly shoes, bags, tops......I promise!!
By posting this thread, I hope to stick to my word and not set foot in any nearby Accessorize.
Anybody else care to join in?
xx

ooooooooo me too!!!!
I am just about to BT my credit card debt over to I.F.They offered me, 4.95% per annum for the life of the balance.Which given my credit rating is fantastic. My original was with Abbey @ 22.9%!
Must learn to control budget. No unnecessary spending, especially when its a week till payday, current account is less that £10 and I spend on credit card just to keep living!
Comp being fixed for free on wednesday so will be attacking ebay like crazy!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
That's how I got in to debt...my circumstances changed but I continued to spend...all unnecessary purchases went on my credt cards and so did necessary purcases (ie, food). Not good but I'm in control now!
I've just brought my debt-free target forward so it means I will have to be very restrained if I want to achieve. My will-power is very high at the moment so I'm utilising it as much as I can!0
