CCJ error
Last year Asset Link obtained a CCJ against my husband and I. We have since realised that there were errors in the calculation of the amount owed. Can we do anything about this through the courts? Can we appeal against the amount owed this late, not the CCJ, just the total amount owed?

Light at the end of the Tunnel
Well I did it. I had an hour and a half talk with Payplan and went through everything with them. Despite my initial concerns and apprehensions they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Luke dealt with my problem in a very proffesional way and we even had a bit of a laugh as well. Bottom line £41,384.83 in debt. Heres…

Bank making it as hard as possible to get back in the black
Dunno if this should be on here, or on the "Vent" board, but here goes: As a result of me going £280 over my overdraft limit, my bank (who shall remain nameless) cancelled all my direct debits and standing orders and gave me until today to get back within my limit. Today I paid the last £100 into my account, which should…

I dont know whether or not this is the right place to post this but... My wife recently has begun using this website and this forum all the time. How much have you spent today? Fri 13th Jan
I've just spent £2.30 on a sandwich (completely overslept this morning and couldn't quite co-ordinate ironing work clothes, making breakfast, drying hair and making lunch simultaneously!) My sister is coming to stay for the weekend, so will probably end up spending most of next week's budget in the next couple of days!

The fight back continues
A couple of weeks ago, me and my partner were new to this site so we listed all our monthly expenses to she where we could cut back.
