Light at the end of the Tunnel

Well I did it. I had an hour and a half talk with Payplan and went through everything with them. Despite my initial concerns and apprehensions they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Luke dealt with my problem in a very proffesional way and we even had a bit of a laugh as well. Bottom line £41,384.83 in debt.
Heres the deal anyway. Now on a Debt Management Plan. The good news is we are paying £304 a month for a bit rising over time to over a £1,000 pound in 4 years time (when the car loan is finished). This means we will be completely debt free in 4.7 years. I never thought it could be that simple and to say its a relief is an understatement. I have endured 18 months of worry when i should have done this then and we would only have 3 years left to pay.
Well i'm counting the months but the first good nights sleep in a long while coming up. I cant praise payplan enough. Please anyone reading this take my advice call them NOW dont leave it.
I honestly thought id be going bankrupt and be in dire straights forever, now there is light at the end of the tunnel and its getting brighter.
Hope this helps someone else.

Yes, WELL DONE YOU! Have a wonderful night's sleep tonight.
If you wake up at 3 in the morning and start thinking 'it can't be as simple as that, there must be something wrong', remember this - IT CAN BE THAT SIMPLE. PAYPLAN HAVE HELPED LOADS OF PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD (and elsewhere) AND YOU WILL GET THERE!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Once again the power of MSE is realised!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0
