Nearly paid of our debts

Only 10 more months to pay off our debts with Payplan, they have been great at helping me sort things out.
Does anyone know if our credit rating will ever get better after it is paid off. My husband has just retired and I am due to retire soon.
Don't want to buy on credit again as I will have lump sum after retirement, and don't really need anything for the house.
I have a bank cash card only and hope one day to have a debit card.
I would like to hear from anyone in similar position who has got back on their feet.
Is there anything we can do now?

Alot of banks offer debit cards with their basic accounts. For example, Barclays and Halifax offer Electron and Natwest offer Solo.0

Well done Lilli!
I hope you're going to celebrate when it's all cleared.
I would think that seeing as you came to an arrangement to clear your debt, stuck to that arrangement and successfully cleared it as promised that that would help any future financial applications.
Keep posting as I know that some of those at the start of the Payplan road will be inspired by the fact that you did it!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0
