Debtfreeeju's Random Ramblings (AKA getting rid of £10k in 15 months!)
Right, so about a month ago I had my LBM, after many false-LBMs over the years. And now I'm proud to be dealing with my debt one day at a time - I'll get there eventually! A bit about me: I'm 25, live with OH in rented accommodation and have been in debt since I was 18. My parents have been fab and have really helped with…

Charityworkers debt free diary
I have a £14,000 debt for a caravan which I've already had 3 years. I know, I know I should get rid of it but I probably wouldnt sell it for anywhere near £14,000 so here is how I'm going to chip away at that debt. I do online surveys, sell my unwanted stuff online and save money wherever I can. I'm going to make a note of…

Time for me to grow up...
Right o, I have a fresh cup of coffee beside me and will lay all my cards on the table. I am a 26 year old who had some idea aboutt her finances but fell in the category of 'will deal with that later'. Glass half full not half empty, yet again
Well I'm back, again! This is the last debt free diary I am going to have and I will do it this time. I'm single mum to DS who is 10 in January and have been his carer since September 2010. He has ASD and was not coping at school and only attending an hour a day (loads of info on previous posts) so I made the choice to…

Confessions of a student in debt!
Hi, I am new to this area of MSE! I am currently a post graduate student and have still got debt from when I studied my undergraduate degree! My lightbulb moment came when I couldn't even get a current account (even without an overdraft facility) and had to get a basic account. It dawned on me that one day soon I will want…

Turning the lights back on...
After reading a few inspiring diaries, I have decided it's time for mine. For now just an overview... which will not be straight-forward at all. I'm 26 years old & have just got divorced. Yes, divorced. It's horrendous, I am aware. After the worst 10 months of my life (since he left to now), I'm trying to get back on…

Emz will be debt free in 1,000 days......
I have been thinking about starting a new diary for a while. I have been playing around with figures today, and realised that I could be debt free in 29 months. Before I can start tackling my debts, I need to pay my mum back the money I owe her (around £1,800) and get my bills up-to-date. So I have set the target of 1,000…
