help for letter writing

hi everyone,
i am looking for advice on how to word a letter to my creditors. i am in the proccess of setting up a dmp but need to notify my creditors and to send them a token payment for this month or until my dmp is sorted out.i have been browsing through here and everyone seems very friendly and supportive of each other.i know it is going to be tough for a while to keep to a budget, but i know now that i am not alone with all the helpful tips you have on here.:) its a tough time at xmas and is gonna be even tougher this year but i am determined to get this mess sorted out.i have about 14k of debt, which is about 4k more than i realised,it so looks different when someone else does the sums for you :eek::o
so any help would be appreciated and thank you for such a wonderful site as this.
