NIC Class 4 Contributions
My taxable profits are £13,813.79 but when I calculate my self assessment tax it is working out my NIC Class 4 calcs to be £2880. How can this be? At 8% I get the amount to be £670 taking into consideration the starting allowance of £5435. Please can someone help?
