Interest free Coronadrafts and their effect on credit ratings
I've done a search and found lots of similar discussions on the Corona payment holidays for mortgages, but I wondered what we thought the effect of applying for the 3 months interest free overdraft on a current account might be on credit ratings? It seemed to me that an interest free overdraft is a much lesser sin than…

I am currently going through a long-winded remortgage process which started back in March 2020. I was initially declined by both Santander and Lloyds, despite having good credit history. When the lender causes a default
Approximately 3 years ago, Capital One caused me to default on payments. I sent the money on time and greater than the minimum amount required. At Capital One, the money was paid into the wrong account, which could not accept the payment. The money was returned by Capital One as a BACS payment. When alerted to the error,…

Experian - really slow to update
Has anybody had experience of this? I had a loan, which I paid off completely in August but Experian still has the balance from June? Clearscore and Credit Karma were updated relatively quickly so my understanding would be that the lender has updated the CRA's, is contacting experian worth it to see if they can update?

All of our accounts defaulted fairly early on and will drop off our records in…
