Experian - really slow to update

Has anybody had experience of this?
I had a loan, which I paid off completely in August but Experian still has the balance from June?
Clearscore and Credit Karma were updated relatively quickly so my understanding would be that the lender has updated the CRA's, is contacting experian worth it to see if they can update?

It’s not Experian - it’s the lenders updating the CRA’s0

My experience is that it can take at least three months before any settled accounts appear.0

It's the lender, not the CRA. Halifax haven't updated my Experian file since 02 August.0

From my understanding the CRAs do their own checks on the bulk data that they receive to make sure it’s all valid. It would be quite concerning if they accepted such a bulk load of data without such checks. The delay can easily be a mix between the lender and the CRA.0

The only similarity in most cases is that there names and DOB are the same yet they live in in different parts of the UK.So this would suggest they don't check anything much at all.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0
