Can’t join the Credit Club

Options
I’ve tried to join the Credit Club but it says Experian can’t identify me. I can log in to Experian directly though - and the details I’m giving are the same. Any ideas?

Same here, I've been using the credit club since 2017 and suddenly this month they can't identify me

Sign up again with a different email address. If you use Gmail, you can just add a random full stop anywhere in the email address and Credit Club will treat it like a new account.

You can also append a + followed by some random characters to your username with any email address. For example martin@mse.me you can use martin+experian@mse.me and it will go to the same place.

Interesting! Will using a different email address help them identify me with Experian though?

Yes, I have done it, there's no problem. They can show different scores though because the snapshots are taken at different times of the month - so for example one might be yesterday and one two weeks old. The comparison searches are up to date though.
  • I have completely given up on Credit Club, whatever I do I can no longer get through "Experian's rigorous identity checks" even though I never used to have any problems whatsoever...
