What do lenders actually see?
I was speaking to a lady from creation finance today who I have a complaint with at present with regards some AP markers from 7 years ago. The account was settled in 2011 so is visible to me until 2017. The lady was basically trying to tell me that lenders only see the last 6 years so they won't cause me any problems. So…

Experian Credit Score
Is it just me, or is Experian advertising the random number they generate as a credit score when people know that lenders credit score them extremely misleading? Probably deliberately so, but IMO they shouldn't be allowed to market it as a "score".

Overdue Tax and Credit Rating
Hi I have searched the internet and this site and can't find any reference to this. My question is basically: are HMRC likely to treat an arrangement to pay off overdue income tax by installment the same way a finance company would treat a special arrangement to pay (AP) credit and place an indicator on my credit files? I…

CCJ not on credit report
I received a ccj in 2012 and have been paying it off bit by bit. This week I checked on Noddle to see my credit report. Of course I am not sure how accurate it is but there was no mention of the ccj in any way. I need to ask, can noddle be wrong ? Can the ccj be added at any time? Thank you for reading this,I hope you can…

First, apologies for the long post. I would like to ask for your help in explaining what is wrong with me as I’m pretty desperate and I don’t really have anyone to turn to. I relocated to the UK because of my job in July 2012 and have been living here since. Last year I wanted to apply for a credit card so I called my bank…

Different Credit Reference Agencies give me conflicting information about my rating..
Hi all... I was recently turned down for credit. This has prompted me to check my credit report. I'm left a little confused now though, as Equifax say my credit rating is good, and call credit say it is weak. On my call credit record I noticed a British Gas account still showing as active, even though I left them a year…
