Lloyds not updated credit report, any help appreciated!

I am after a bit of advice please. Long story short, I paid off my Lloyds credit card November 2013 and the account is closed however on my credit reports it is still showing as open and just over £5000 owing on it. Lloyds have not updated my credit report since 03/11/2013. I have raised the problem with the credit reference agencies and they have all marked a dispute on it but I can't seem to get Lloyds to actually update it! It was supposed to be sorted by today but again still isn't.
I have spoken to the Financial Ombudsman and Information Commissioner and know I can put my complaint to them after a period of time has passed but I am wondering if there is anything else I can do in the meantime?
I am waiting to apply for a mortgage which is hard enough as it is due to me being a company director but I now can't do anything until my credit report is updated. Has anyone any suggestions how I can make Lloyds take my complaint seriously and actually update my records?
Thanks in advance.

I held a credit card with Halifax (part of the HBOS group, under Lloyds) which was closed in February of this year; my account was terminated on the 28th of that month.
At the bottom of the letter it stated it'd show up on Internet Banking for up to six months from when it last active, so, in your case, it should be marked as "settled" from next month if Lloyds sort themselves out and update the relevant agencies. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

That's interesting thanks. I'll keep a close eye on it, it has only recently been taken off my internet banking so that does seem to match what you have said.0 -
In terms of a mortgage application - if you have proof of the account being closed then a mortgage company will often be happy to consider that along with the information on your credit file.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Hi craaazyuk,
I'm sorry to hear of the issues you've had with this. To confirm, have you spoken with our Credit Cards team about this on 0845 606 2172 (01702 278 272). If so, what did they advise?
Thanks,
