Hello all, wondered if I could get some advice.

I had a perfect credit rating, never a default, loans paid off, mortgage up to date, cards managed well.

Recently, I moved some debt to different cards at 0%. On setting up one to Nationwide (my mortgage account providers) I forgot to set up the direct debit, so found upi defaulted on the first payment.
This is completely my fault, but I remedied it immediately, paying two months in advance to cover any delay in DD set up, and making sure the DD covered it correctly.

I paid the default fee also.

I've just received a letter from the Halifax about their 0% card, saying they'd reduced my available credit to me after a review on my account. That's ok, I don't intend to borrow any more, but this worries me, that they were worried about my ability to pay enough to do this. I did move my bank account from the Halifax in the last few months, so it may also be linked to that.

Again, this is my fault, but is there anything I can do? A perfect record has been affected by a silly mistake.

So what shows on your credit files?
Just a missed payment marker for one month only?

If its just a single blip then after a few months it is unlikely to have a major impact on your ability to get credit.
