credit limit on new cc not enough
I've applied for a new 0% bt card to shift cc debt as current 0% is coming to an end. Ideally I'd like to shift 5k, but the limit I've been given is only 3k. When would be a suitable time to apply for another card?

Hi, Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this but here goes... I have a credit card which has two separate balances on it. Balance 1 was part of a 0% interest deal which i took advantage of and i do not wish to do anything with this as it is 0% for quite some time Balance 2 is accruing interest and i am thinking of…

Any experience with the Experian Credit matcher?
Or any other pre-application checks? I've used the Experian free credit matcher and score tool, I score quite highly on 'good'. It suggests I have a 90% chance of getting any of the Barclays cards, although was specifically looking at the Freedom rewards one (I currently have an old £500 student credit card I want to close…

Nationwide soft search.... see result early?
There have been a few threads on here (including from me) about how 'useless' the Nationwide Credit Card soft check is - for example if you're offered £500 @ 19.9% it's probably a decline, if you are offered higher, it may be an accept. I've routinely been offered £1,650 @ 19.9%, only to be declined on a full check. I knew…

Tesco credit card balance transfer, what are the chances of them saying 'yes'?
Hiya. I've got a pretty poor credit rating and I'm waiting for a couple of paid CCJ's to fall off, one should go this year, one next year (both were for water (£189 and £320) after I lost my job but have been paid in full), and there's 2 late payments for O2 which are 3.5 years old. Other than this, I've kept up with…

Hi All, I'm 26 and trying to build up my credit score, I've just been accepted for my first credit card with a credit limit of £3900 a month. AA Card
The AA have wrote to ask me for certified copies of 4 different types of ID as a part of a credit card application I made (on top of me emailing a copy of my driving license during the initial online application). Is that a standard anti-money laundering process for them, or don't they like me for some reason?
