I managed to get a 0% deal on balance transfers so transferred my MBNA balance + £2000.
As such I now have a £2000 positive balance on my MBNA card.
What is the best way to withdraw this? I'd like to close the account also but don't want it being refunded back to the new card?
Thanks

OP, don't mention closing your account until you've got the cash. Just say "credit balance refund" during the automated phone call when you're asked to say what you're calling about.0 -
Is MBNA known for allowing you to create a positive balance and then refunding to your current account?0
