Capital One 6 month interest free card
Hi, in an effort to get my CC paid off I applied for this card and was accepted. On acceptance it didn't say what credit limit I have been awarded - just wondered if anyone else has recently been given one of these cards and if so, what limit they gave you?

AQUA credit card - BEWARE! FRAUD! CC company uses semi-criminal tactics!
OK, THE PROBLEM SOLVED by paying by bank transfer. Many thanks for your input. (the problem was that AQUA didn't take payments by debit card card on their website and had been ignoring DD instruction change for over 12 working days, although they must change it within 7 days)

"Aquis" Credit Card
10 days ago I applied for the "Aquis" Credit Card. I believe this is part of Vanquis. I called them today to check on the application. They confirmed they are processing it and that I will get a decision in 7 to 10 working days. How can it possibly take 20 days or so to decide whether it's a yes or no? Don't they ever give…

Barclaycard DD for minimum payment on and still gone overlimit without spending
Hi, Ever since I had the Barclaycard, I had the direct debit set up for minimum payment. Back in 2008 was the last time I used the credit card leaving a balance of £1000 to get paid off by minimum payment (bad mistake I know) but this is not the issue. In December 2012 they sent me a letter to say I went over the limit…

If I make a CC payment of 1p who gets the 1p?
I once went to a supermarket and used a gift card which payed all the balance but 1p. As I had only a £20 note in cash I decided to pay by CC to avoid receiving £4.99 of coins. Out of curiosity I know CC companies charge merchants a % of the transaction ,but in this case of a 1p payment who would get the 1p-the merchant or…
