I wish to purchase goods and services from a company but they do not accept credit card payments. And I need to pay somehow using a credit card as I do not have enough money in any bank account.
What suggestions or ways can I make the purchase?

What payment methods do they accept?
How much is the purchase you wish to make?
Is it a credit card you already have? what card is it?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
The purchase is for approx. £1500. I would like to take out a new credit card with 0% purchases so I can pay it back within the allocated time. Unfortunately the trader I am paying can't accept credit card. I expect that they just want a cheque.
I guess my question is 'Can I make a payment with a credit card to either my own or somebody elses bank account?'0 -
With a select few credit cards you can make a money transfer to your bank account - there is a % fee to do this.
You'd need a 0% on money transfer deal though, not a 0% on purchases.
MBNA backed cards are one option. Another is post office cards.
Another possible option might be through paypal, although again there would be fees involved.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Could you get a 0% card and use that for all purchases and not spend any money you have.0

Some companies used to give cheques MBNA were one i think. They offered me a deal i said that would be handy as i was just about to buy something but the guy had only just moved from a market stall to a shop and couldnt yet take credit cards.
No problem they said we can issue a cheque is they will accept that.

Credit Card Cheques aren't available any more - they where banned for irresponsible leading practices, by the regulator (I think).
The only way of doing what the OP want's is to do a super-balance transfer, or use the C/Card for normal expenses that would normally be paid for as cash - and use the Cash to pay the trader.Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!0 -
OP Think before you proceed!!
There might be a very good reason why a retailer/company does not accept credit/debit cards - it could be a sign of financial weakness - they could be out of business tomorrow.
If you don't pay direct to them by credit card you don't get S75 cover either.
Not knowing what you want to buy it is difficult for me to say walk away but if it was me that is what I would do.0 -
Can you tell us a bit more about what you are buying? and are you receiving the purchase/service straight away or later (like a holiday).
If you pay by cheque you have no protection.
Would be handy if you could tell us a bit mor so we can help.0
