Will I get a default notice now I'm about to miss a second payment?
I got signed off work just before Christmas, then earlier in the year my company's sick pay ran out (they top it up) so I only got SSP last month, as a result that all went on bills and I ended up missing three of my CC payments, as I simply couldn't pay a penny to any of them. One card's Sainsbury's, the other's Bank of…

Proof of residency for foreign nationals?
Howdy - I've been told by many agencies that I need to get on the electoral roll, but as a 'foreign national' (and not EU) I cannot. The MoneySavingExpert credit page states: Anyone know how that is done and what qualifies as proof of residency? p.s. I've searched the forum and not seen a clear answer. -- Sean R

Paying rent-in-advance and bond on 0% purchases card, a good idea?
Hi, if anybody has an idea of the answer to this conundrum it would be greatly appreciated. I have to pay 1 months rent-in-advance (£400) and bond (£400) for a rental property with a lettings agent via a pdq machine in their office. On a credit card would that be classed as a 'purchase' or as a 'money transfer'?.

A question about credit rating and credit cards..
Hi all, I was wondering if you have a credit card with (for example) 13 months interest free on purchases and you use it to make purchases and then pay it off slowly (so not in full) over the 13 month period, does this affect your credit rating, as you are not paying it off in full each month? Thanks.
