Paying rent-in-advance and bond on 0% purchases card, a good idea?

Hi, if anybody has an idea of the answer to this conundrum it would be greatly appreciated. I have to pay 1 months rent-in-advance (£400) and bond (£400) for a rental property with a lettings agent via a pdq machine in their office. On a credit card would that be classed as a 'purchase' or as a 'money transfer'?.

Can't see why you can't use your card.

Why not just ask the lettings agent, who will know for sure whether you can use the card?
