Hey folks, so I'm quietly going about being debt free and have been studying my credit reports and finances like crazy over the last few months. M&S interest free period
When does the interest free period start? The moment you apply for the card or when you activate the card? It took M&S at least 3-4 weeks to get me my card from the day I apply for it, if they start counting from the day I apply, it will be 14 months rather than 15 months interest free period... Anyone knows? Thanks.

Got my first CC, do any shops charge extra for using it?
I know that withdrawing from cash machines can mean fees. What do any shops charge extra fees for using it? Eg, when I was going to pay my car insurance, it was £5 more to pay by CC but not fee for by Debit Card.

Halifax Clarity Credit Card - Refused!!
I applied for the Clarity Card last week as it was rated on this site as the best for travel and spending abroad.
