MBNA CC Return Payment default sum, minimum payment made

in Credit cards
I have an MBNA Amex 6.7% APR card with a DD set up to take the minimum payment each month.
Last month I changed current accounts and cancelled the DD without telling MBNA. I paid the minimum amount by Debit Card before the due date and they tried taking the minimum amount again. This then failed and they have charged me £12 for RETURN PYMT DEFAULT SUM.
Now I understand that I've screwed up in not telling them I cancelled the DD but does this kind of thing go on my credit report? Considering that I made the minimum payment I would hope not.
If it won't go on the credit report I'll chalk the £12 "admin" fee down to experience, if it will I might have to call them up and plead ignorance...
Thanks,

It won't go on your credit file as the payment was made but it might affect the LOB deal, so I'd still plead ignorance
