Credit Card Application questions???

Hi

I'm about to apply for a credit card but am being asked whether I 'plan to apply for a new mortgage in the next two years' - Why am I being asked this?

I'm also being asked if I have a savings account too? Why?

They want to know about your other financial commitments. Or else they hope to sign you up for a mortgage and/or savings account.

i don't know if this is the button iv pressed so if its not forgive me...
can anybody tell me how a previous tennant to an address(MINE) who moved out 2 years ago can still be solicitating credit at this address???
I just had words with the previous tennants debt recovery agents. i told them AGAIN that she had moved, and asked how did they get confirmation that she was still at this address and he said she was still solicitating credit here! i mean how?
i live here and nothing apart from lots of debt letters come here for her.
sorry about the rant but you have no idea how many debt letters come thro my door every day!!:(

Just keep returning them all with 'not at this address' on the envelopes. There is nothing more you can do unfortunately.
