Not been able to do a contactless payment without pin for over 2 years.
Why is it called contactless if I always need a pin :) These are trivial amounts, typically under £10. Most recent at Mcdonalds, when my sister swiped my card she even commented thats odd I never need my pin.

Switching offer with Santander
I opened up an account with Santander 123lite on the 20th September using the switching offer. One of the conditions for the £175 offer is to pay in £1000. Is it like other banks where once you have paid it in you can take it out again straightaway or do you need to leave it in for a period? My guess is you can remove it.

Birmingham Midshires withdrawing their savings accounts which allow deposits by DD.
Just received a letter to advise all my accounts will be closed between 24/11 and 24/12. Will need to juggle my DDs now to cover Natwest, Lloyds club and Santander. Will probably need to sacrifice 1% cashback for Council Tax and Virgin broadband.

I mainly think this is due to having such a good regular salary at a young age and the use of online banking (numbers on a screen). I was wondering if anybody had any tips or suggestions…
