Monzo open within a few mins how long to apply to switch

I have just opened Monzo account and funded it   It took a few minutes
Can I now apply to FD to switch ?

I’m not sure that you need to wait for the card as you can find the number on the app.

It is a very good account for overseas use, though, so I’d be reluctant to burn my bridges and close the account. Perhaps you don’t travel overseas though.

There are other good overseas cards. Monzo don't actually figure on MSE's top pick travel cards, so I wouldn't hesitate using them as a burner account for switching.
