Switching to HSBC
I've been with Natwest my whole life and looking to switch for a variety of reasons. How long should I wait between switching donor bank accounts for switching incentives?
Morning all, As the title says, what are your thoughts on how long to wait between switching bank accounts for opening incentives? I will be using donor accounts, not moving my main current accounts. I have recently fixed my mortgage for 5 years (mid Dec), and taken out a 27 month credit card (early Jan, for stoozing) so…

Direct Debits taken out randomly
A relative told me what I think is a bizarre story. She had several direct debits taken out of her account with Barclays yesterday. She said these direct debits did not have specific payment dates (??). She said she spoke to the bank and told me that they said “Because big companies know that people don’t have a lot of…

Standing Order Inflexibility
Clydesdale Bank's new online banking platform no longer allows payments to be made on last Friday of month. My church has been paying wages on that date with them for many years. Is the withdrawal of that facility just another of Clydesdale's shortcomings with that platform or is this inability common now in the banking…

First Direct Expedia switch gift. Not on my list of options
Hi all, I switched to First Direct in December, when they were still offering their switch gift incentive, rather than the new cash offer. One of them was £150 Expedia vouchers. Now I'm trying to claim, the option for Expedia isn't there. Just the courses and the tech but I don't really want any of those . Per the Ts&Cs it…

First Direct Current Account
What is the minimum balance you'd need to keep in it to avoid the £10 fee? I know it says average monthly balance of £1000, but presumably you'd need to keep more in it than that for the average balance to be over £1000? Or do they literally mean keep the balance above £1000 at all times to avoid £10 fee?

Have I be scammed?

I just checked now that she lied and the account is from Monzo. Now,…
