bank wont repay me my overpayment

The cooperative bank will not return an overpayment to me.
I have beeing paying a monthly amount to clear a debt via a debt operator sold by cooperative bank LCO.
LCO said Im owed over £800, but told me i had to call the bank to get the repayment. but the bank have not done anything about it and it has been 4 months now. I aslo have the account closed and it is in my married name, I am now divorced and the eveything is in my maiden name and bank will only pay checque out in y married name?
please can you advice..

Have you approached the bank with the deed poll (or similar) to update your name on their systems? Have you raised a formal complaint?: )0
