Switching current accounts - affect credit rating?

Declined Co-Op Bank Standard Current Account
Applied over the phone for a basic account (no Cheque book or overdraft) which was declined. I've had a mortgage with Co-Op for the last five years and due to remortgage soon, Co-Op offer better mortgage deals to current account holders which I thought I would take advantage off besides viewing my mortgage balance online.…

I had a Tesco savings account and decided to close it as I never use it and I can't sign on online because I have a new computer, it does not recognise my new computer so I couldn't see if I had a balance. So I posted a letter asking to close it and send me any outstanding balance. Today I got a cheque for 1p.

Can you set up a variable standing order depending on how much money you have in the current account so that you are left with a zero balance in that current account on a specific day of the month? My problem, or not, is because I am paid a pension weekly, my wife 4 weekly, and another pension monthly, all on different…

So I'm starting a job soon which will pay me in Euros. I'm based in the UK. Been investigating the options. Reaching out to the interest/mathematic gurus. How much interest has been lost?
I asked in the ISA forum but i'll probably get a quicker response here. I don't suspect that it's going to be a lot, but in this case it's not the issue. Bear in mind: This is an ISA. Here's the situation: Now the rate was 3.2% ......... assuming the account was kept credited with £1+ for 12 months. What should've happened…

Can you accuse the bank in a complaint, without hard evidence?
Basically there's been a kcoc-up between Santander & Halifax with my girlfriends ISA & it's cost her an agreed rate of interest. As pointed out by a member on here, Halifax would've been happy to close the account (resulting in the lower rate) as they would've then had to pay out the smaller fee. This is an accusation that…
