Replacement for MS Money?
I used to be an avid user of MS Money but haven't run it for about 4 or 5 years. I have just gone back to using it or tried to, to find that Microsoft killed the product several years ago! Is there any replacement for it out there? What have other users of it done?

Transfer to New Bank Accounts for Rewards - Any that don't require two Direct Debits?
As in the title. I was going to go for the Halifax but apparently you need two direct debits? I don't have anything coming in or out of my bank account apart from my salary, because I mostly deal with cash payments for things. Seems a bit of a bummer. I have an appointment with Halifax next week but I may as well cancel if…

How to Lower my Overdraft?
I've gradually built up my Overdraft with my Bank over the years and it now stands at £1400 - I never get in to the Black and am now desperate to rid myself of the overdraft and try to budget (which I find very hard - a compulsive spender!). How can I start again? I don't work - I get a Carer's Allowance for my 2 disabled…

New current account
We want to open a 2nd joint current account. We're not interested in an overdraft, just a debit card. The plan is to leave enough money in our existing account to cover all DD's and SO's which includes money going in to savings with a bit extra left in there to reduce our overdraft each month and we'll then pay the…

Nationwide - has this happened to anyone else?
On Thursday I went to my local nationwide branch to put some cash into my savings account. It deposited my money into the machine, however it took ages and was making some very funny sounds. After about 3 minutes it spat my card out and said there was an error. It took my £50. The Customer Services lady got me to fill out…

Bank account markers
Hi All. Hoping someone can help. Recently, I've been helping a friend of the family with a problem. Their son is mentally and physically disabled. Barclays Bank Account
I read on the barclays website that when applying for this current account online credit agencies and electoral roll are checked in order to confirm identity. Applying in branch says that I just need to bring I.D. and proof of address. I have a valid UK passport and proof of address including a letter from the electoral…

In Arrears Orange Contract Payment
Hi, I changed my direct debit for my orange contract from one of my bank accounts to my new one last month and was told that my payments will come from that account from now on, except for the payment for December which will still come out of my old account. Lloyds & Internal Scoring
As many will be aware, I recently managed to get a full current account with Lloyds post bankruptcy. Remarkably I am eligible for the Silver Account, probably nothing to shout about as im sure they dish it out once a classic account is opened but I felt a little privalaged so to speak. The benefits suit me, and are value…

Tight Budget for a month?
So we are aiming to pay off my partners overdraft this month which we can do if we pay all the bills solely out of my wage. This would leave us with £101.56 to last the month. This really would only be for food and anything that crops up this month. I have other money I can use for petrol for both of us (we both use our…

Question for the Experian rep
Sir When my ex-husband went into our local BoS to change his address, the clerk erroneously changed all my accounts to his address too. I noticed this on online banking, advised them accordingly, and it was changed back. In the interim however, they have reported this to all 3 CRAs. I raised a dispute and both Equifax and…
