Ive just applied online for one of these accounts (free fivers yay!) and was given my account number and set up online banking etc. How long should I wait for the account to be fully active before putting some money in there? I know that some people have paid some into it straight away, and have had issues with it…

Telephone banking - audit trail??
Hi all Not sure if this is the right part of MSE. A question - if you call a bank to discuss an issue on your account and, in the process of getting through to a human being, type in your account number and answer all the security questions correctly, does it leave any kind of a record / footprint / audit trail on your…

Santander have blocked access to our joint current account and refuse to explain why. As well as having sent in a written complaint, I want to do a Subject Access Request under the Data Protection Act.
