After a recent problem with Lloyds, which was an internal error, but later I found out there was a bit of a coverup, I though I would move my account. So back to the market and Barclays stood out with the ideal account, I had worked for them about 7 years ago and they were not the worst then. So, did an application for a…

Hola, As I've had the main one of these accounts for more than 3 years (which is good for my points score when making new applications), I don't want to get rid of that one if possible. My husband and I have a C&G account. It is telephone based as opposed to branch based. Natwest Overdraft Question
Hi hope someone can answer my question. I have just recently changed my overdraft down from £700 to £200. I received the confirmation letter through today. It said along the top - "Confirmation of Managed Rate Overdraft Facility (Permanent)." Does this mean that my account is being managed in some way?

Nationwide unilateral reduction of overdraft facility
Hi, I'm a first-timer here, so be gentle. I've just checked my Nationwide account, and they have reduced my overdraft by £900, to £1000. I've been made redundant in the past 2 weeks, so I don't have the finances available to pay back this extra £900. If I get my JSA paid into this account, I won't be able to access it at…

Should my security number be visible from the front?
I've just received a new debit card from NatWest, and the security number on the signature strip is indented so much, you can see it through the front. I was of the understanding that the number should be printed only so that if an impression is taken of the card, the security number shouldn't be captured. Am I wrong?

How long to transfer money?
Hi, Hopefully a simple question. I have a HSBC current account and a Barclays basic bank account for the electron card to avoid charges on Ryanair as we are frequent fliers. Barclays lied about charges
Our Barclays account was into the overdraft, at it's £500 limit, and last year they put a 'reserve' feature on it of £250. We recently went into the reserve, which incurred several fees, which my husband went into the branch and paid. He cancelled all direct debits coming out, and then asked if he'd cleared everything to…

I am now aware that the machine proceeded with my transaction without asking for a PIN number so how would it have…

A&L Premier Direct Current Account 8.5%
My 1 year bonus of 8.5% interest is about to end can anyone tell me what happens to interest rate on this account after? Also, as the 8.5% ends on the 9th of June and the interest is paid around the 25th, assuming the rate is really low after the 9th, would it be best to move the £2500 to one of my savings accounts at 3%…

I'm with Co-operative Bank - any reason to change?
I've been with the Co-op for nearly 20 years since switching to them from what was the TSB. This is theoretically a branch based current account - the ease of operating it via both phone and internet banking compensated for their closure some years ago of my nearest branch. No interest is paid but then I get free banking…
