Anyone know if the halifax and the RBS are the same bank? because the halifax have exactly the same offer as the RBS £100 to switch. I have a halifax acount and was wondering if I tried to switch would they refuse on the grounds that I already have an account with their group.

Abbey National lost my money!
Hi, anyone had problems with Abbey, I paid some money in on Friday lunchtime, cash and cheques, and its still not showing on my account. Phoned them and they said to go in the bank tomorrow to see whats happened.

Hello, Can somebody please tell me. If I pay some money (cash) into my sons bank account, at his actual branch, is it available immediately? Citibank to charge for their Sterling Current Account

whats happening with the HSBC!
Hi everyone my son is with the HSBC at the moment and on friday when we went into the bank we noticed that they had 4 machines now, to pay money in etc, why is this, is the bank shutting down, so that it will be all machines and no people, am I panicing over a bunch of machines for nothing.
