Bluetooth/laptop connection - the ex-mother in law is coming
The ex-mother in law is coming to UK for a year to work (she's South African). She won't have access to wired or wireless internet as she'll be moving around and staying with other people. I think she'd be better off using internet cafe's or local libraries for e-mails and web, but she's been told that she should get a…

Tiscali Dial-up
My mum has it and has nearly every time she's online it frequently disconnects? Anyone else experience this? I'm going to change her to another cheap dial-up. She barely uses it so a cheap p/min one is best. Have tried tesco and they were'nt much better. Any good ones for a very low user? Thanks in advance

Need Dial Up, covered by o2's free calls
Hi I have just bought a PDA and it turns out on the device the favoured way to connect to the internet is via a dial up, rather than GPRS as I used for my normal PC when my net connection was down. Metronet to become even cheaper
Metronet are changing their pricing structure mid March to increase the included bandwidth in the basic cost so for many users, this will reduce prices: e.g. 1 Mbps ADSL using less than 1Gb per month is £13.75 inc VAT http://www.metronet.co.uk/adsl/paygo2 Thanks Gavin

Broadband Usage Limit
My contract is up with Wanadaoo, and I'll probably switch to another supplier as I'm sure I can get a better deal elsewhere (currently paying £27.99 per month). Especially as Wanadoo wanna charge me £20 regrade fee if I change to another package. A lot of other suppliers seem to have usage limits, and I have found this…

NTL Freedom dialup alternatives?
Are there any ISPs that offer deals similar to NTL's Freedom dialup packages i.e., £15 per month for unlimited dialup and £15 of telephone calls included? I have been with NTL for over a year and the service has been excellent. However I have had one or two websites that NTL's DNS or proxy servers have problems with, i.e.…

Any Advice On Moving From Aol Dial Up To Broadband Please
I just wondered if anyone could give me some advice on what is the best/cheapest broadband to switch to. I've currently got AOL dial-up. I've got a bid confused reading some of the threads because they got a bit too technical for me. Also if I change to another provider will I have to lose my AOL email account? Thanks
