BT broadband query

My brother is on BT BB and the past few days he's noticed that his user name has changed to ****.****.(series of numbers) and there is now a number being dialled. is this a virus/dialer?

does sound like it is one of the trojan dialers
what is the phone number being dialled.....?
i have bt broadband.... but dont use a number to dial at all..........
does your brother have antivirus?
get him to download latest virus updates and run a full anti virus scan
does he have a firewall?
is he running xp, if so get him to switch on the firewall, then download a free one (or not, i actually use both xp and zonealarm)smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....
