surprise bill...!
Hi, I was contracting as a ltd company from feb 2007 until oct 2007. I have just recieved a bill from the inland revenue for just over a grand for corporation tax. I was made BR last wednesday 16th. How do i stand with this bill? Theres no way i can afford it, any ideas what to do? Thanks

Might seem like a daft question but if i was to be declared bankrupt would it affect my partner? We live together (not married) and the mortgage is in his name (i am not included in it) Would this affect him or is the mortgage safe because it is in his name??

Past CCJs., credit and jobs.
I now have a clean credit file.... lots of little green OOOOs. I have a credit card ( small credit limit) but lots of OOOs Bank account .. had for years. ... Hi..i am soon going to have to take the big,scarey step towards BR, i am living in a flat,paying rent to my landlords account,but do not have a tenancy agreement.How will i prove to the courts that the rent amounts are true.Should i contact my landlord and get a letter from them? Thanks
