as of today i am bankrupt and do not owed anymore money .....
after nuch stress , i am feeling a sense of relief after a sleepless night. that everything will stop . no more abuse , insult, threat from bank DCA creditor etc.....

i just can't believe it how the proces was quick and a long time spent in the waiting room !!!

i have talk with the OR which he seems nice . however now i am worried as halifax told me that they will close my bank account even though the OR has no interest on it...
the coop refused me, over the phone, as i owed them money and apparently i mismanaged my bank account .. the women was very stroppy on the phone with me when she asked me to make any payment now and i told her no as i am bankrupt

so my last hope it is with Barclays, i reallly hope it will be ok cross fingers lol

tho im not BR yet barclays gave me cashcard 4 weeks ago i went in branch and got it. nationwide refused me , i dont owe any money to barclays i just hope when im BR in 3 weeks they will allow me to keep it.

thanks for your support i don't owe as well any money to barcalys i have never been with them befoer i really hope they will accept my application, when i wen tot the branch i told the lady that iwas bankrupt and wanted to open a basic bank account she told me no problem adn don''t be ashamed as we deal with numerous people like me so she was really nice and understanding .

i t is a weird feeling to be declared bankrutp between shame , guilt and happy and freedom ..

are they really good with bankrupt application?

Barclays are nice, you can have telephone banking with cash card account. So can check balance and last transactions.

You can get money out at post office counter too.

Try the Co Op again, I owed them 67.00 from Sky taking money they should'nt. They closed my account last year, again said miss managed. Was not my mismanage BUT Sky claiming money early and tax credits not being there. ANYWAY the lady I got said they have a fair customer policy. Took my details incl thaat I was going BR in September. Rang me next day YES they will have me back. Got my card and account number within a week.

Worth asking....
