bankruptcy questions- please help

Hi
I'm printing off the necessary forms for bankruptcy this evening and having read up a bit more indepth its raised more questions... if anyone can answer any of them i'd be very grateful.
Firstly, i didnt think i was entitled to exemption from court fees, but i've read that you may be if you're receiving CTC depending on your income. The thing is i'm going bankrupt alone but my CTC is a joint application with my OH, but paid into my account. The CTC is my only income apart from child benefit and is used for food, gas and electric. My OH pays all the other bills. If CTC is taken into account as my income, will OH's income be used to decide if i qualify?? (i really hope this makes sense- i can hardly get my head around it lol)
Secondly, i can't proove that my income is used for food bills. My gas and electric are both prepay meters so i have receipts to show they were payed for with cash but i withdraw the cash from my account (a cash card account) and give it to my OH and he uses his debit card to pay the food bills (keeping the cash for diesel, top up shopping, etc). So i can't proove what i'm using my income for.
(we only do it this way because we normally need shopping before the CTC is payed in so he pays then i give him the money when its payed in.) Again- i hope this makes sense.
My brain is spiining so fast from trying to put this into words- lol. Hope you can help?

Hi Mummy. You have to give figures on your EX160 as a couple along with the relevant proof. It is decided on household income rather than yours alone.
You will need to provide evidence of dependant children which is this years child benefit award and this years child tax credit award. Both the CB and the CTC must be included as income. You will also need proof of your partners income (wage slips if he is working or benefit letters if unemployed) as well as 3 months bank statements.
If your total income (including all wages and benefits) comes to less than £18375.00 for 1 child or £21470.00 for 2 then you will qualify for remission under concession 2.
If your total income is above these figures you may still qualify under concession 3 - but I'll explain that in more detail if you need me to - dont want to confuse the issue!
I think thats clear as mud so if you want anything clarifying give us a shout! x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Oooh penguin, could you let me have more info on Concession 3 please? I've just read the guide and the form and am trying to get my head around it for a joint application where only one of us is earning anything significant at the moment.0

Yes course - concession 3 is used when you are above the maximum thresholds (which varies depending on whether you are single or part of a couple and how many dependant children you have) and is dependant on your disposable income.
You are allowed :
£296.00 for yourself
£150.00 for a partner
£228.00 for each dependant child.
In addition to this you are allowed your monthly housing costs (rent or mortgage)
Childcare fees
Maintenance payments
Any payments for a fine set by the court.
You add all these figures up for your situation to give you an expenses figure. You then add all your income up from all sources to give you an income figure. The difference between these 2 is your disposable income and there is a sliding scale that determines how much of the court fee you will pay.
