Bonus Payment

Hi,
I was reecently informed that I may get a bonus from work, as things are tough and they can't afford a pay rise just yet, but a bonus is doable.
I am looking at the possibility of £600. If this is paid in cash via my wages, then the OR will take 100% of it. Work know my situation and they are offering me vouchers instead. CAn vouchers be claimed, as I can't imagine the OR would want high street vouchers?
Could some one please advise, as it sounds harsh, but I don't want work paying me a bonus if I'm going to lose it.
I am in an IPA which I have just had reduced to £55 and I am due to be discharged next month, so my IPA is going to continue for the full 36 months.
Any advice appreciated.
Many thanks
Maz

2 ways to look at this you could just not say anything and im sure how they would find out. On the other hand you could just mention it to the OR but say its basically instead of a pay increase so it should look more like £50 per month more on your wage. I got to admit im not sure what i would do.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

When you go BR you sign a leagal undertaking to inform the OR about any increases (and decreases) in your income.
Give the Insolvency Service a ring on Monday (number in my signature) and ask them about the vouchers. You don't have to give them any of your details so it is anonymous.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
