You're the only customer in the supermarket and have five small-to-medium size items in your basket. For the sake of argument, let's say: a pint of milk, a jar of peanut butter, a box of cereal, a loaf of bread and a tin of baked beans. To paraphrase Louis Armstrong, you have all the time in the world. On one side, the…
Whether it's because the cupboards are bare, you're too exhausted to cook, the kitchen is too much of a mess or you just fancy something special, getting a takeaway for your evening meal can be a bit of a treat. But how regularly do you indulge? Vote in the poll and share your opinions in the thread!
We've all been there. A freshly brewed tea or coffee steaming away (perhaps a cheeky biscuit on the side) but suddenly the phone rings / doorbell goes / kids need attention / you get dragged into a meeting, and before you know it your enticing cuppa has become a chilly shadow of its former self. What happens on the mobile is that when I open Outlook and it opens at the Inbox the latest email is from February, followed by one from a month earlier, and then others from over a year back. Sometimes it will…
My 7% Edge saver account finishes its bonus part of the interest next month. I gather if you withdraw the money and close it you can then open a new one for another year at the current bonus rate. Can you close it via the app and if so how? Can’t see anything obvious.
Hi All, I'm new to this form, and have just seen another thread similar but not with the details as per title. I can't find anything to match this, or better on MSE, understand its not fixed, and only allows 3 withdrawals per year(after 4 reduces to 1.05% AER), with max £200 a month. Any thoughts or advice before I take…
Like many back in the day I was given 100 abbey national shares when it went public. Then it was acquired by Santander. I recently sold the Santander shares but don't know what the original share price was so I can calculate the gain for CGT purposes. Does anyone know what the share price was that I should use? Thanks.
