It's wonderful to hear you've all enjoyed a lovely Christmas period. Back to the real world now for many I guess - take it easy! For those who aren't well, I hope you soon feel much better, here are some {{{hugs}}} for now.

Flippin eck, 32b3  I only finished 2015's on Christmas Eve!!!! So that's where the scart lead change came from. What can I say apart from good for you.
It's ok, jakes-mum, I'd pretty much guessed the reasons. You're certainly very wise with your DG and the pub though, love it. Great work for your DS, he's doing marvellously! :jSue - think you need to change the opening day at the beginning of your wonderful blurb
Lx
Thanks for pointing that out, Lynne, though I thought by my "blurb" you'd meant the 1st post of page 1 (rather than the welcome post) and have searched and searched through that for ages trying to find where it was! Not to worry, got there in the end, but thanks for keeping em peeled. Good work with that £10er!
Aren't all younsters about 10 years older than their years, just trying? I know mine were.
It sounds as though your youngsters are enjoying an even more special Christmas time, Saver-upper! There's much to said for days before the internet etc. Good luck with your tax....evasion!!! :rotfl:
It's so good to see you back, Maisie M! I've answered you on SPC 8 and everything will be perfectly ok.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Have updated my sig. I have a jar that I use for spare change to which I added some bits yesterday and already have £2.70. I will find something that I can seal though. I aim to put in there any spare change that does not equate to a pound in total. I am also a member of the no toiletry buying challenge and am going to put £1. In my pot for every full sized item I use up plus 50p for each travel size and 20 p for any sample sachets. I keep saying that I'll do this but then dig back into the jar when I need change. I think posting on this thread will stop me digging back into it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi, Thanks for the warm welcome to this challenge. I have just emptied the change from my purse into a jam jar and now have saved £1.84 towards next christmas.
I have allocated myself pocket money each week so will empty any money left in my purse at the end of the week.
If I underspend on petrol or food etc I will also add this to the pot at the end of each month.
I worked out my Christmas budget yesterday and spent approximately £450 this year. I have cut this budget to £300 for next year as I should be able to make more presents and find better bargains now that I am not working.
Have a nice day everyone xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order )0 -
Just dropping by quickly to pot 50p x0
