Fritterprincess – I am soooo impressed with how well you are doing, 50% is such a fantastic achievement and I bet it’s a great feeling finally having no credit cards x

Thanks Jemma! It very exciting to be half way there. I've been working a lot of overtime recently (I'm a midwife) which is really tiring and stressful. Its really hard juggling everything with two little ones, but seeing the debt reducing and all the encouragement from everyone (especially you!!) keeps you going.
I'm quite a stubborn person and once I get the 'bit between my teeth' I can be very determined.

Glad to here you have recovered from your food poisioning.xx

    Well done Antonia :T :T

Ohhh the worst most horrible day of my life today :( DD had an appointment with the coeliac clinic today as they think she might have it too and they had to take blood to check :( Oh she cried and cried bless her, the cream they put on didnt seem to do anything as she kept saying 'oww, oww'.
She didnt know what was happening as her hand was behind my back, I felt so bad we took her to tesco and bought her a little present (for £4.97 so not too extravagant). I think it was more traumatic for me than her tbh! DS wasnt like that when he was tested but he was 4 years older. Am horrified by the thought that we might have to take her to be scoped, I know they will put her to sleep for it but just having the tube put in for the general anesthetic is going to be awful :(:(

aww give her lots of extra cuddles :grouphug: The worst thing my Mam ever saw was when I was donating blood, hearing me in pain to start with she went white but then seeing all the fuss made when I'd donated too much she was terrified and didn't know what to do.

I probs shouldn't be writing this here (but I'm so excited), I have been accepted on a PGCE place to teach secondary maths and physics at Durham :j:j:j. Going to wait til Tues to hand my notice in tho, cos my line manager isn't back in til then (and I'd rather talk directly to him cos he's been really nice to me). I am moving back in with parents for the summer, and so my new debt-free date should be (fingers crossed) end of August.[/QUOTE]

Antonia that is fantastic news and very welll done. I work in primary education and I know how hard these places are to get.:j:j Also will be great news for the DFBX12 challenge to be debt free by August.:D

Jemma, I am going to Rhodes, which my sister is paying for! :)
Glad you are back in the land of the living! I have been off 3 days this week with a sickness bug. Perils of working with kids!
