11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember this is the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.

I don't think they should be put on the list. If you enter their comp and remove the tick from the "more info" box they do not spam you. The person who was spammed asked for a boiler quotation - it was not because of entering their comp.0 -

Received a pm to add a site to the: 4 Do any sites not want their comps/answers posted?
- TasteTheSeasons.co.uk - Don't post comps
Thanks to fire**fly for letting me know
To find this part of the Guide and the 'spam list', in the first post of the thread you can roll down to the section 'Posting Comps' and click on that heading. Automatically it will jump down the thread to there and can scroll down to 4 which is the 'don't post comps/answers' and 11 which is our spam list.Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -
Hi All,
Just had an email from Photobucket to say they want $399.99 a year to reinstate 3rd party hosting (what I use to display the images in the Guide).
I'll be looking for another solution this weekend - as Photobucket isn't a possibility if they want to charge! I'll get it sorted as soon as I can but if anyone has somewhere they use for stuff like this please let me knowSad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0
