Hi Alice - did you confirm the date of the next DD with eon? It is very close to the the 2nd and there is every possibility that they have already requested payment from your bank and it will come out on Monday 4th (first working day after the 2nd).0 -
Morning Alice,
Just having a little catch up. Well done on re-jigging the budget so you can send DS some money, im sure he will more than appreciate it.
Yay to the heating off still xxMummytogirls x0 -
How much were the heated airers in Aldi btw? Ive just done a quick search as I wasnt sure what they were and came across this for £20 although it does look a bit small?!

dfw and granny - I don't think my OH will change......but I'll keep plodding. :)
Workie - you've got me thinking.....it was their suggestion to change the DD to the 28th (I wanted to cancel Novembers payment altogether) so I'm assuming (naively) that they will be able to change it.......if nothing comes in the post today I'll give them a call.:)
mummy -I think the heaters in A1di were £25-£30, I think it has a few more bars than that one, but that still looks a good buy.
Yes heating still off.:D
Yesterday was a NSD, have sorted loads of stuff for the table top sale and put a few bits on fleabay.
I mentioned the heating is still off but last night I had to run a few errands and both the houses I went into had the heating on. The one house was far too hot but the other one was just right (sound like Golidlocks :rotfl:), got home and realised how chilled our house was. Still going to persevere and leave it off for as long as we comfortably can.....and unless we have company.:rotfl:
Going to go and sweep outside and get some leaves up. Keeping busy stops me feeling the cold and stops me eating.:D

We to still have our heating off, OH seems to have moaned less the cooler its got, just adapted and dressed more appropriately. We have elderly family members with mobility issues staying with us for a week in November, as a result the heating will have to go on, every single room has it's own thermostat and can be run independently of the rest. I had a conversation with OH and he suggested we only have it on downstairs and then turn it down to 15 degrees when they go home, feel like real

OH has just called, we knew another company had taken over the company he works for, they are closing the section OH works in as the 'new' company already has a department doing the same thing. OH has been offered another job (same money and hours) or he can leave........like he's going to do that with no other job to go to. The section OH has been offered will be over staffed so does that mean redundancies I wonder?? Anyway will forget about if for now, until OH comes home later.:(
On the plus side I've managed a couple of NSDs, today I will just have to pay the window cleaner.
