Hi Please could I join. I used to be really good at budgeting food but recently I have got really bad and we seem to be wasting a lot of money on food.

As its my first month I'll say £300 but I hope to get this down eventually.

Please sign me up - I found out yesterday I am £30,000 in debt - have been hiding from it for years!!! It is only myself and my son and have been told that we need to try and stick to £154 a month. Think it should be okay just need to budget

I'd like to join in too. I'm in the US so technically our budget is in dollars, but I don't think the currency really matters. Our food budget for August is $360 buuuut I already did a larger than usual Costc0 shop (we only go there once a month) so I'm already down $189.94... Eek. I'd really like to stick to budget though so I'm hoping that joining this challenge will give me the motivation necessary!! Now to find some cheap and healthy recipes to stick on the meal planner....

Edited to add: just me, DH and DS (2)
    Deposit Fund = 9754/20,000
    OP Fund (2016) = 250/700

    Hi guys

I've just done a te5c0 shop. Was allowing myself £40 to spend as I was needing spices, dog food and laundry liquid. For once I made a list and spent £27.01, this included a few whoopsied items that weren't on my list too, mostly fruit for smoothies.:T:j

Went to my local corner shop and picked up 6x 1.5ltr Btls v0lvic juiced as they are on special at 50p each. So total spend £30.01

I found using the scan and shop at the supermarket a great help as I knew exactly what I was spending.
