Thanks for the chart Kathryn and well done to everyone.

Daughter started her swimming lessons 3 weeks ago and as we get back fairly late its just something quick for dinner when we get back.

    Plan for today
    Breakfast: wheeties & a banana.
    Lunch: Pasta salad
    Dinner: Beans on toast

I was just wondering if there's a good page or link for Recipies or syn values for Christmas food. I want to plan ahead so I can make decent choices. Is it worth getting this months magazine for ideas.

Hope you don't mind me saying but your day looks very light on Speed, potentially just some with your pasta salad. If your lunch is meat free you'll probably be OK as it's like an old Green day but do try to eat as much Speed as possible. Perhaps some fruit later this evening? Of course it's harder when you're in a rush but maybe on other weeks you could have Speed fruit with your breakfast and then having none at supper time wouldn't be such a big deal.

Personally I just take the hit with a small portion of Christmas pudding but make my dinner just like any SW roast. I make my own pigs in blankets with low syn sausages. Maybe others will be along to let you know about specific recipes. What sort of thing are you looking for?

Haha don't mind at all maman. Truth is I wasn't really sure what I fancied when I wrote it but its turned out to be toms & mixed peppers wizzed up to make a sauce for broccoli & green bean pasta. I don't always write what veg as it depends what I find when I get to the kitchen x

Wooho joint SOTW I'm happy with that. Today so far I've had

BF Bran Flakes and milk (HEA and B)
    Snack : grapes
    Lunch SW quiche and salad

Have a yogurt that I may have this afternoon.
Tea will be SW meatballs, pasta, HM sauce and side salad.

Will have hi Fi bar this evening.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thanks for the chart Kathryn - hope your weigh in is better than expected - and congrats to the various SOTWs. Hoping that I can join you with a loss this week after STS for the last 3!

Made the SW KFC style chicken yesterday (Quorn for OH) and it went down very well so one to make again. I weakened in the evening at choir and had a couple of milk choc digestive thins - how nice are they? - for 3 syns, so I finished on 15 for the day.

    Today is
    B Alpen light and banana
L Turkey sandwich with LTL mayo instead of spread, baby tomatoes, various fruit, 1/2 syn Aldi yoghurt
D Chilli with speed veg and rice. 4 syns so far and trying to keep them down today.

Really need my Bran Flakes ( I won't go in to detail!) so will have to try to force them down at 6.30am tomorrow, pasta salad with tuna for lunch, poss stir fry with veg and chicken for dinner.

Some amazing losses. Well done everyone.

Had to take the car in for service this morning and have ended up putting a deposit on a new one!!! Picking up next Monday.

    Today's plan:

    B - boiled eggs; soldiers - HEB
L - Wetherspoons - steak, jacket potato, peas, mushrooms, tomato. Potato was so dry I had to use the 10g butter pat - 3.5 syns. Was very good and only had a diet tonic to drink:A
    D - ham salad

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5

Have some fruit to snack on if peckish this evening which I may well be with just a salad for dinner:rotfl: Also still have some syn free hummous and veg sticks so could also have that.

Spent much of this week lying on the bed, couldnt walk with my rotten knee.:(
Real struggle to get to SW today. What with no exercise, eating almost half a pound of cheese from boredom, plus my great granddaughter's first birthday party on Saturday(4 large pieces of my daughter's gorgeous corned beef plate pie straight out of the oven,my first taste of one of my all time fave foods in 6 months, whole party stuff probably around 60 syns!) I was pretty relieved to lose 0.5 lbs:j.
Of course I am still a pound more than I should be after last week's debacle, but here's hoping I am getting back on track;)
total loss this year 3 st 4 1/2 lbs

I can still barely bend my knee,so I am doing this post standing up with the laptop on the kitchen bench. Its driving me crazy not being online for almost a week
