Lucky dip - 10 books for £7 (kids) or £10 (adults)

Options
10 kids books for £7 or 10 adults books for a tenner.

Could be good for Xmas prezzies (or cough, cough, you could sell the ones you don't want on ebay/amazon):

They claim that in total you save up to £196.95 on the cover prices and the books are brand new so maybe worth a shot?

Summer Sale is on too:

And more cheapies in the 'Bookends' section:

Go on, switch the PC off and read a book, it's good for you. :)

Although you probably don't want ' Diaries 1987-1992 by Edwina Currie', even if it is reduced to £2.99, no you definately don't want that.

edit/update:

http://www.redhouse.co.uk (same company as bookpeople?) also have some good offers on, including Horrible Science - 10 Books for £9.99, Felicity Wishes Fiction - 8 Books for £8.99 and a bookends section for cheapies.

Thanks to Aril for finding this:

Many thanks - I've had books from the book people before, they often call at my partners workplace. Didn't think about them having an online store.

The Book People ae great. The lucky dips are fantastic for pressies.

The best thing is that there is no commitment to buy more books, as there is with most of the book clubs.

have had these lucky dips before & they are great, especially if your child has a lot of parties to attend! the price on the back of the book is always a lot more than you paid!
Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!
  • Just received my adult lucky dip today...mostly great - except for a Catherine Cookson - groannnn....I use the Book People loads and get tonnes of bargains...they give you reward points too - quite quickly add up to enough for a free book...they send you a magazine through the post, which normally has a code for free delivery with it - unfortunately have binned the magazine, or would have posted the code - sorry!!

    other bargains this order inc:

    Scott's Food and Drink Miscellany - £2.99
Beyond Nab End (hardback) - £1.99
Shopped (bout supermarket secrets) - £2.99

check out the Bookends section for bargains

It would be interesting to see what books one person gets and how much they'd sell for on Amazon.
