The BT caller display service is now free. BT are notifying all customers but you can jump the gun by going to:
http://www.bt.com/btprivacy/
This is a saving of £21 a year if you are currently using the service.
To qualify you must make some calls through BT.
Regards,
Art.

It took me a while to suss it out, more info here. You need to order the BT Privacy package (which is free). If you insert your bt phone no and account no you get taken to an order page. Select the BT Privacy package and scroll down to the caller display option. Be careful to not select anything else as these are chargeable. Grand total is a whopping £0.00, submit the order, done.
Works straight away, had a phone call (wasnt planned) that said the number was witheld. Not had any from nos stored in the handset yet. Excellent, I've wanted this for ages.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0 -

Sorry, I have removed the link. Don't know how that happened? They weren't my details.0 -

Thanks Art very much, you've saved me the £21 I used to pay per year and BT will credit me with the money I have paid up front.
Yes, thank you for that Charlotte. The correct link should be: http://www.bt.com/btprivacy/
Funny how missing http off the link directs you to a different page. The wonders of the web I guess.
Whilst on the site I also reviewed my other services and cancelled my 3-way calling which I don't use now. Yet more savings.
