Lose Weight 13

mexicanwave.gif

Well it's July tomorrow so today seems like a good day to start Lose Weight 13! :D

If you've got some surplus weight you'd like to lose, come and join in the chat - whether you're attending a slimming club or going it alone, someone will be able to provide some help and advice to keep you motivated.

We have the 2 pound weight loss club - If you want to join send me a PM, or just post on this thread. I keep a chart with all the members, their result and their weight loss so far, which is updated and posted every Wednesday evening. If you attend a slimming class, post your weight loss on whatever day you go and I'll pick it up for the next update. If you're going it alone, set Wednesday as your regular weigh in day and post your results and I'll include them.

You don't have to lose 2lbs a week, there's no need to reveal your actual weight (unless you want to) and I don't need any evidence - there's no point in cheating, you'd only be cheating yourself!

You can join in the monthly challenge, which is a method we have devised to set ourselves 'bite-size' targets. We've just started the July challenge, which is to lose 5 pounds by Wednesday 1st August. It's purely a way to motivate ourselves to lose weight, so if you're worried about joining in, don't be, no-one will hit you over the head if you don't get to target! :o There's usually someone around to give you a boot up the bum if you want one though, and we'll celebrate your successes with you too. :T

Click here for the latest chart.

We have plenty of recipes to help you in the recipes thread (link below) and there are links to useful websites below. Come and join us, we're a friendly bunch!

    Good Morning All :j

A big thanks to Lois for carrying us all to this new thread :T ...

...It's sunny here at the moment and I've just found that we have 2 lovely courgettes ready for cutting and a mini cucumber ready too! :j ...

...feeling really positive at the moment and I think it's due to actually getting round to starting to organise myself; I'd been procrastinating doing something that needed to be done and I finally did it yesterday so it's one less thing preying on my mind and it's surprising how just that one thing has lifted me (now to do the rest though :o )...

...I've been thinking about the meal planning too and I've come up with some meals that can be eaten hot or cold depending on how the weather is come the day...

...Now here's to hoping this upbeat me can last through the day...

Hi kyle and welcomelilltlejs7.pngto our lovely bunch of fat busters  ...

...if you have a quick browse through the last few pages of LW12 you'll see that various folk here have the some problems that you have, so don't think that you're all alone :D. We follow a variety of plans, I calorie count, but whatever you choose, start today:j :j even if it's just healthy eating today, because the time will soon pass and your lovely holiday in Florida will be upon you, think how upset you will be with yourself if you don't do it now, you will be so   ...

... be back later (it's peeing down now :rotfl: )...

  • What I could really do with is ideas for meals that other use.
I'll start us off with a Free on Red Day slimming world one that can eaten hot or cold and is quite scrummy(even the hubby thinks so!)

1 pot of very low fat cottage cheese (300 ish grams)
    4 eggs
1 tin of Ham (any 'Jelly' washed off!)
    2 cloves of garlic (optional)
    Grating of ginger (optional)
2 onions (I use 1 red one white)
    Pinch of Chinese Five Spice

Chop everything and place in flan dish cook for approx 45 mins

    Feeds at least four
I cook one on in the evening, served hot then any left overs I have for lunch the next day cold with salad. Yummy

  • Hi everyone

I've had the most tiring week ever!

It started off last Saturday with a friend coming down from Wales for my birthday on Wednesday, I went out for a meal: Saturday lunch, Sunday dinner, Monday lunch, Wednesday dinner, Thursday dinner and Friday dinner.

I'm amazed that I managed to stay the same last week. Didn't post as I wasn't at home much last week. Will post on Wednesday this week, but am nervous that I might have picked up as last week will probably catch up with me then, but am not that bothered, you only celebrate your birthday once a year, so will just get on with it again.

thanx louis for moving us onto a new thread. Am so looking forward to the next month and losing even more weight, I just love it.

And TPA thanx so much for the free red recipe, I am making it tonite and so looking forward to it.

    Cheers

Hi Victory & all! Can I join here too?

I have lost 15lbs but still have a long way to go (around 4st) I am on my own healthy eating plan and have cut out the rubbish. I don't get weighed weekly but will update with my lose every couple of weeks when I get weighed at the hospital or doctors.

Good luck everyone, there are some great losses on the chart. Victory is our star in Murphy's no more pies club!
