Amazing DELL Laptop Deals £328 Superb Spec XP or Vista

Options
Dell are at it again, they have reduced prices twice in the past two weeks and this spec 1501 has come down from £386 to £353 and now to £328.

They have even provided customer choice of Vista or XP, I'd add the 6 cell battery for £11.

Deals are here, you can't buy better.

XP Home Model

Huge spec, 15.4" widescreen, 120gig HD, 1gig memory, 256 graphics card (shared), WiFi

Don't bother ringing Dell to barter, I tried they won't !

Happy shopping.

For those who haven't purchased from Dell before, in order to get the best price alter the warranty in Hardware Support to 90 Days Collect and Return, you will still have a years warranty, but without the collect and return service.

The basic price only includes XP home, or Vista Home Basic (no Aero interface). Option to ugrade to Vista business, but there is no option for Home Premium or Ultimate, so no Media Centre functionality in any of the available options.

For basic internet surfing and email use is it better to go for the xp or vista?

Will xp be quickly outdated and left behind?

Thanks - couldn't resist at that price. Much better specs than anything else I've seen at a similar price.

If you phone Dell they will upgrade to vista premiium for £23.50 but i think you then have to upgrade the memory aswell to a 2gig as 1 is not enough.
I stuck with the vista basic on my 6400 and it runs fine for everything i have used it for up to now.
