Have you turned on your heating yet?

I'd be interested to see if you've turned on your heating yet. I haven't except I have been putting the bathroom heater on when in there. I'm determined to keep the heating off for as long as possible, it's a challenge to myself and my electric bills. (I'm all electric.)

Not on yet here. I'm feeling hot at the moment. Flat seems to be very well insulated. I'm going to leave it as long as possible.Happy chappy0

I put mine on for an hour yesterday, couldn't bear it for any longer and it stunk to high heaven as it hasn't been used for so long.
Put it on again tonight for half an hour to warm the place up.
Got the fan blowing cold air onto me now! lolTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Well I started similar thread last year, and thanks to a relatively mild October I did manage to last out until November 1st:j (although the last few days were a struggle, and the gas fire in lounge had been on a few times)
Not sure it will be so long this year, but who knows; at the moment I think it is fine here, even in the bathroom in the mornings (although do now have to put lights on when we get up) Hope it will not be before 10th of October but we will see.0 -
My missus has decided that winter doesn't start until the clocks go back-who am I to argue?0

Hasnt felt nearly cold enough to put it on yet, I make OH put on warm clothes before I put the heating on, he's walking around the house in tshirt and shorts at the moment lol“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Not yet. A month ago I suggested 1st October to my DH and he said 'don't be so silly, we've no need for that' but as we're out on Saturday I think we'll make it!Love living in a village in the country side0

nope, trying for november, although don't know if i'll make it cos theres been the odd chilly evening recently, but so far just been wearing more clothes and wrapping myself in a big blanket!
spent a fortune on gas last winter, had just moved into the house and never paid for utilities before so had the heating on full blast anytime i was in the house:eek: determined not to do the same again this year :rolleyes:Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -
Not on here thank God. I dread the Winter bills these days. Its utterly digusting that now I hear there are two new pipelines come on this year earlier than planned and a surplus gas that we are still paying over the odds for our fuel.0
