UPDATE 25 March 10. Dairy Crest has confirmed ALL incorrect invoices will be fixed
Well as we noted was possible in the original tip note - there have been what we'll generously call 'teething issues' for some however we've been pushing Dair Credit for an answer and its now given us a statement
I've posted the whole thing below, but it's quite long so here are the headlines:
Well as we noted was possible in the original tip note - there have been what we'll generously call 'teething issues' for some however we've been pushing Dair Credit for an answer and its now given us a statement
I've posted the whole thing below, but it's quite long so here are the headlines:
- If you are eligible for the fiver discount, but were invoiced for the full amount, Dairy Crest have confirmed that the full amount will not be taken from your bank account. Instead, the next invoice on 20 April will show the £5 discount applied. If it takes the full amount before that point, please let us know in this thread.
- Please check that you only used one discount code on the order. The MSE code could not be used in conjunction with any other promotion.
Please read the full statement below, tand if you still think there have been some errors made on your order, let us know and we'll follow it up.
Hope this helps
-- The offer is only open to customers who set up a regular payment method. As a business we only invoice customers on the 20th of every month. If you are eligible for this offer and your first delivery was after 19 March 2010, the discount will be applied to the next invoice which will be issued on the 20 April 2010. If you took up this offer and spent £5 or less on your order, no money will be taken from your account. If you spent more than £5, it is only the excess that will be charged to your account. - Customers can only use one promotion code per household to be eligible for £5 discount as per our promotion T&C's: "Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer" and "Only one £5 discount per Household". So if you used two codes, then only one discount will have been applied.- Where existing milk&more customers have set up a regular payment method and used only the MSE code, but not received the discount, they are eligible for the discount. However, due to a technical problem beyond our control, some discounts have not been applied this month. We apologise for this error and are working to resolve it so that the £5 discount will be applied to next month’s invoice for all eligible customers. We apologise for any inconvenience any customers may be experiencing and we are doing all we can to resolve the issues. Should you need help with your account please only use our Customer Care line 0845 606 3606, rather than any geographical numbers you may have seen on this forum as only our dedicated Customer Care team will be able to help you. We understand that the waiting times have been longer than usual, but please rest assured our team are doing their best to help with your enquiries.

I registered with the website and ordered my items, but come delivery day they did not arrive, so I rang up and told the girl I'd paid by voucher and she said she would credit my account with £5, I ordered again and my stuff did arrive the following Friday, I'm just waiting for the invoice.0

Milkman himself is sound enough (except he only works certain days which is a) not terribly convenient and b) the online ordering service doesn't tell you this -he knocked at the door and told me himself so I then had to re-do the scheduled order) but the online service itself is dreadful. Things orderd which don't arrive and yet they expect to be paid for - things pending instead of undelivered. The £5 did come off the initial invoice but I've had to ring three times since then to get the invoice corrected for things which haven't arrived. Seems such a shame that the milkman is being let down by the customer services. It aint over til I've done singing....0

Just to clarify : can I order just once (I can set up reg.payment but than after 1st delivery to cancell)?
Thank you for your help!0 -
My £5 voucher code isnt working??
I enter it at the bottom, it says promotion code has been applied, and yet, I still get charged?0 -
It's only £5 off your first order, and I reckon most people will have used one of the recent codes going around to get £5 off including the Daily Mail offer that was on recently, and so won't be able to use the MSE one...0

This free breakfast offer from the milkman, by setting up a d/d, would this mean £5 is taken from account each month regardless of no order being made ?? Can anyone answer this ? Enquired on the Milk website but the contact page isnt working. Please advise if you can. Thanks0

*Be warned - fivers food may not be worth the hassel*
I and the neighbor both did this.
Delivery was fine.
However, we have both been billed in full.
Since I registered a zero balance prepaid my account currently reads "unpaid"
We have both called M&M 3 times in failed attempts to try to correct (they confirm they can see my voucher but seem unable to correct)
Overhanging concern that some fool will pass me to a collection agency.
But then not sure I signed a credit agreement to allow that. Anyone?
Edit: oops - just reread Martins instructions. For clarification I used the Telegraph code and not the MSE one.0 -
7 lengthy calls to Dairy Crest
6 orders that Milk and More subsequently cancelled
5 days waiting for a delivery that never turned up
4 guarantees that the next order would be delivered
3 different excuses
2 times £5 was wrongly debited to my account
1 customer who's given up on Milk and More
0 times I was contacted to tell me the delivery wasn't coming0 -
I used the Mail code (I think) to get £5 breakfast delivered to my door and it was great.
I checked my postcode and it came up with the name of my milkman and what day he delivered to my postcode - for me it was Mon-Sat for my mum it was only 3 days a week.
I placed the order and it was here when we woke up on the Saturday morning so all good from me. It did say you have to set up a regular payment to get the £5 deducted from reading another thread your account shows as having an amount outstanding until you account is produced for the month which I think is the 20th so I'm still waiting for mine to be done as my order was last week.
Assuming everything is done as I think it is your account will show you have an amount outstanding, when the bill is done the £5 wioll be deducted so if your order was less than £5 there will be nothing to pay, if it was over this will be collected by DD. If you're not going to order again you can cancel your DD.
The posts above mine are on the negative side but lots and lots of posters posted this worked well for them with the other codes. My DD2 is a overexcitable and times and finding milk, orange juice and breakfast outside the door was so exciting for her it would have been worth a tenner, the excitement lasted for days. Even better though it was free.0 -

the DD wouldn't collect £5, it would collect however much you've ordered through the month but yes you could just cancel after the 1st payemnt if you're not going to ordering again0
